Description

Multidisciplinary and cross-jurisdiction project funded by the 'Mission de recherche Droit et Justice', a French research body created by the French Ministry of Justice and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). The project, which involves lawyers and computer scientists, looks at the assess the viability and scalability of blockchain technology and smart contracts in the French legal system and their impact on the legal professions especially lawyers and notaries. The project is lead by the Grenoble Law School and involves other French universities as well at the SCRIPT centre at the Edinburgh Law School.
