Description

The UKCP consortium is an association of leading research groups based in the UK that perform first-principles simulations of condensed matter. This grant supports a post-doctoral research fellow (based in the research group of Dr. M. Probert) to support the community and to develop the simulation package CASTEP to ensure it is fit for purpose. It also provides the community with access to the UK's leading research computing facility HECToR.
