Abstract

A study of recent developments in the law of delivery of deeds, in particular the statutory recognition of electronic delivery of both paper and electronic documents. The paper considers further reform of the law of delivery in the light of the changes already made, and explores its significance in the formation of voluntary obligations by way of offer and acceptance (in particular the postal acceptance rule), unilateral promise and third-party rights in contract.
